It doesn't matter if it's heist-planning Golden Retrievers, Jimi-Hendrix-infused Shakespeare, or a stint as a swashbuckling vaudevillian mustache-man: it's all about telling a good story. That's what's at the heart of all of Max's creative work.
He's an actor and an improviser, a poet and a playwright, and a multi-instrumentalist musician. He's won awards, scholarships, and honors for his truthful, creative, and humorous art. And most importantly, Max Kaufman continues to tell stories that move people.
Max is a senior at Miami University, double majoring in Creative Writing and Theatre, with a minor in Education. He's been President of both Sketched Out Improv and the Walking Theatre Project, Writing Director at Inklings Arts and Letters, and a playwright and producer with New Wave Theatre Company. He's based in the Chicago area.

Max can also been seen performing short-form, long-form, and musical improv with Sketched Out Improv every month.
Max is a one-time semifinalist in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for Region III, and two-time nominee. He has been awarded the Yeck, Gates Memorial, Abegglen, Kern, and Kladitis scholarships for excellence in theatre.
